Svelte, sublimely silver, and stylishly spare, the Rado Integral watch (model R20486732) offers an elegant complement to professional and casual wear that can be worn every day. It also adds a bit of dazzle for special occasions, thanks to the four tiny diamonds used as quarter hour markers on the dial. Made of high-tech ceramics, this fashionable watch is also amazingly durable and virtually scratch-proof. Amazingly thin, it has tall, rectangular silver-tone ceramic case that measures 24mm wide (0.94 inches). It frames a silvery gray dial that just includes silver stick hands in addition to the diamond markers. The fashionable bracelet band is composed of rounded silver ceramic pieces surrounded by silver stainless steel thin, H-shaped links. It's joined by a push-button, foldover clasp. Other features include a date window at 6 o'clock, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, ultra-precise Swiss quartz analog movement, and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet).
The raw material for Rado's high-tech ceramics is a very fine powder that is pressed or injected into a mold. The powder is compacted into scratchproof ceramic parts in a sintering blast furnace of 1,450 degrees Celsius. These parts are given a brilliant shin by polishing with diamond dust. Highly resistant to scratches, Rado's high-tech ceramics rate an 8 on a scratch-proof scale of 1 to 10 (with aluminum rated less than 3, gold less than 4, steel less than 5, and diamond topping the scale at 10).
